• Small group resources to boost your congregation's engagement with one another beyond the walls of your church
• Preaching prompts to inspire your writing of the message. We don't give you the entire sermon; that part is up to you! But, we do provide ideas to spark your creativity.

Advent can be filled with worry about finding the perfect Christmas gifts. Deep down we want people in our lives to know they are special and that we love them. But sometimes we overlook the greatest gift of all… our very presence. Our spiritual ancestors were also worried–often about survival in the midst of political occupation. And the response of the scriptures is “the Holy Living One is with you.” Like a shepherd who never leaves the flock, we are held close. This season, we are invited to be the gift of presence for our loved ones, for our communities, for those who need it most.
This year's fully-scripted Advent series is called "Reflecting the Sacred" and will draw inspiration from Every Thing is Sacred: 40 Practices and Reflections on the Universal Christ by Richard Rohr and Patrick Boland. "I Believe Even When..." is inspired by the beautiful choral anthem by Mark Miller, "I Believe." This series was developed about the power of music during difficult times. Draws on documentaries about important times in history and the music movements that sustained the people.
This series celebrates the 200th anniversary of the beloved hymn, "Silent Night." (Still relevant to celebrate "over 200 years" of Silent Night.
"Heaven and Nature Sing: 300 Years of Joy to the World" is a celebration of the hymn, "Joy to the World" and invites us to joy as spiritual practice.
This series uses the story of Ebenezer Scrooge combined with scripture to remind us to let go of the past, relish the present, and hope for the future.

Dr. Marcia McFee is a professor, worship designer, author, preacher, and ritual artist. Drawing on a first career in professional dance and musical theater and equipped with a Master's in Theology and a PhD in Liturgical Studies and Ethics, she understands the role of any worship artist in the church as that of creating extraordinary portals through which communities journey with the Spirit. Dr. McFee has designed and led worship for regional, national, and international gatherings of several denominations for the last 25 years, including United Methodist General Conferences 2008 and 2012.
Dr. McFee is the Creator and Visionary of the Worship Design Studio (www.worshipdesignstudio.com), an online experience of coaching, education, inspiration, and community-building that currently serves over 1000 congregations.
